How-to PublisherNetwork

Invite teammates and choose their roles

Updated

View as Markdown

Owners and Admins add teammates under Team. Each teammate gets their own login with a role, and a separate switch decides whether they see earnings. No email is sent: you copy a temporary password and share it yourself.

On this page

Before you start

  • You’re the account’s Owner or an Admin. Team shows in the left menu only for them.
  • Your teammate’s email isn’t already a login of the same kind. A publisher teammate can’t use an email that already signs in as a publisher, and the same goes for networks.

Add a teammate

  1. Team, then Invite teammate

Team is in the bottom group of the left menu, near My Profile.

  2. Fill in the form

Enter their Email and, if you like, their Name. Pick a Role from the tables below; new teammates start as Analyst, the least access.

    • On a publisher account, switch on Earnings & billing visibility if they should see your earnings, payouts and billing.
    • On a network account, also choose their Partner access (partners here are your publishers), and switch on Financial visibility if they should see partner rates and payouts.

The Temporary password is already filled in with a generated one. Generate strong password makes another.

  3. Add teammate, then copy the password

Choose Add teammate. The next screen, Teammate added, shows the temporary password once: copy it, then choose Done. Send it to them yourself.

  4. They sign in

Publisher teammates sign in at the publisher log in with their own email and the temporary password. Network teammates use your network’s private sign-in link.

  5. Check it worked

Their row appears on Team as Active, with Invited by showing who added them.

Roles on a publisher account

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull control. The login the account was created with; it can’t be granted, changed or removed.
AdminEverything a Manager can do, plus teammates, API keys and earnings.
ManagerSet up assets and postbacks, and request access to offers.
AnalystView reports and stats. Can’t change anything.

Each role includes everything below it. Earnings & billing visibility is always on for Owners and Admins, and you can switch it on for a Manager or an Analyst. Only Owners and Admins handle credentials: API keys and the postback secret.

Roles on a network account

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerFull control of the account. Can’t be changed or removed.
AdminManage campaigns, assets, teammates and financials.
Partner managerManage campaigns and assets; view postbacks.

Role and partner access are set separately. Financial visibility is always on for Owners and Admins, and you can switch it on for a Partner manager or an Analyst.

Change, reset or remove a teammate

  • Edit on their row changes their role and access. Their password isn’t affected.
  • Reset password gives them a new temporary password, shown once. Nobody can reset their own password here.
  • Revoke access on a publisher account, or Remove then Revoke access on a network account, stops their login. Their row stays on the list marked Revoked (on a network account, choose Show revoked to see it), and Restore access brings it back.
  • You can’t revoke your own access, and the Owner’s row is locked.
