  • Non-incentivized traffic. Users who find an offer without a reward for it, such as readers of an article or a newsletter.What is non-incentivized traffic?
  • Approved one by one

Sign-up is by request. We reply by email.

Who it's for

For buyers who run paid traffic to offers.

  • You buy search, social or native Paid traffic you send straight to an offer's link.
  • You run a tracker It takes a postback URL and matches your click ID.
  • You work offer by offer Each one has its own sources, caps and rules.

Not you? Rewarding users for completing offers? Rewarded apps fits better

How it works

Ask, get approved, send traffic.

  1. Ask for an offer

    Tell us the offer, your sources and your countries. We check them against the offer's rules and approve it, or tell you why not.

  2. Build the link

    Your tracker's click ID in sub_id, then campaign, ad set and ad in sub1 to sub3. Up to ten of your own values per link.

    Link with tracker macros
    /click
      ?off_id=aff_hb40
      &pub_id=pub_afos
      &partner_id=pt_8f2c41
      &sub_id={clickid}
      &sub1={campaign}
      &sub2={adset}
      &sub3={ad}
    IDs and amounts are examples from our fictional world.
  3. Get the signed postback

    Each conversion and reversal posts to your tracker with your values and a verifier. Use our macros to fill its parameters.

    Your postback URL

      ?cid={sub_id}

      &adset={sub2}
      &payout={payout}

What your tracker gets

Your values out, the same values back.

Type your own values. The link and the postback fill in together, matched by color.

Your values

1You send the click

/click?off_id=aff_hb40&pub_id=pub_afos&partner_id=pt_8f2c41&sub_id=trk_5521&sub1=spring_native&sub2=puzzle_lal

2Your tracker gets the postback

GET https://trk.yourtracker.example/postback?cid=trk_5521&camp=spring_native&adset=puzzle_lal&payout=4.20&status=completed&verifier=9f86d081e4b2

sub1 to sub10 are never sent to the advertiser. A reversal comes back the same way, with status=reversed.

Money

What you get paid for.

Every offer on your list comes with how it pays and what it pays you, in dollars. No rewards for users.

Pay shapes that fit

Pay per install (CPI)
A user installs the app from your ad.
per install
Pay per sign-up
A user creates an account. One payout.
per action
Pay per event
Offers with priced steps list each step's payout and goal ID.
per step

An example shortlist

  • Harbor Blocks $4.20 per install
  • Tidewater Putt $6.10 over 3 events
  • Copper Kitchen $3.10 per sign-up
Your list is agreed offer by offer, and each offer shows what it pays in dollars. These three come from our fictional world.

Tracking and money

Tracking and money work the same everywhere.

One conversion, in order: your user's tap, our click record, the advertiser's confirmation, then a signed postback to your server.

  1. Tap u_48213
  2. Click clk_7Q2f81
  3. Conversion advertiser confirms
  4. Postback signed
  5. Your server 200 OK
  • Click Tracking

    Every tap is recorded with your user's ID and up to ten of your own values, sub1 to sub10.

    How clicks are tracked
  • Signed postbacks

    Each one carries an HMAC-SHA256 verifier made with your secret. Without a secret, we don't send.

    How postbacks work
  • Fraud Defense

    Suspect installs are held, unpaid, until reviewed. Traffic Quality lists the users we reject, with the reason.

    How fraud checks work
  • Reporting

    Trace any conversion from tap to your server, or download every conversion as a CSV.

    How reporting works

Before you start

Rules for paid traffic.

What's allowed, what's yours to handle and where we say no.

  • Approval

    Approval per offer, before you send a click.

  • Required

    Each offer's allowed sources and brand-bidding rules. Bidding on an advertiser's brand is allowed only where the offer says so.

  • Not allowed

    Rewarding users for the click or the action.

  • Default

    Fraud checks apply to your clicks. Suspect installs are held, unpaid, until reviewed.

Questions

What media buyers ask.

Something else? Write to hello@affiliateos.ai and we reply by email.

What if an offer stops while my ads are running?

Get an email when an offer you run changes its payout or stops running. Each person on your team sets up their own under Email alerts in the portal. New clicks on a stopped offer don't pay, so pause the ads and ask in your channel for a swap.

How many of my own values can I pass?

Ten, sub1 to sub10, up to 128 characters each. They come back on every postback for that conversion for 90 days and are never sent to the advertiser. Your click ID goes in sub_id and comes back on every postback too.

What if a conversion is reversed?

Your tracker gets a second postback with the same action_id and status=reversed, with the reason when we have one. Map {status} into your tracker so it can tell the two apart.

Which trackers work?

Any tracker that accepts a postback URL. Use our macros, such as {sub1} and {payout}, to fill its parameters.

Does my tracker need to check the signature?

If it can. Each postback carries a verifier: an HMAC-SHA256 of the full URL, made with your secret. If your tracker can't check it, a small endpoint in front of it can, then forward the postback.

Get every click ID back, signed.
