Channel reports

See what each channel costs, never who it is.

Each traffic source is a Masked channel. A traffic source shown to an advertiser under a code instead of the publisher's name. What is a masked channel? with a code that stays the same over time, so you can compare it, judge it and report it.

Test events are free. Verify each required event before you go live.

01Why names stay hidden

Publishers stay hidden so they keep supplying you.

Publishers keep running offers where advertisers can't go around them. So we hide the name and show you the channel's conversions, spend and cost per conversion.

One traffic source

Name stays with us

  • Your account 9aG61bYe3d…
  • Another advertiser 3eL07bV5a1…
  • A third advertiser d4Uf0cW9eJ…
One traffic source shows as 9aG61bYe3d… to your account, 3eL07bV5a1… to another advertiser and d4Uf0cW9eJ… to a third advertiser. The source's name is never shown.

What you see

  • The channel's code
  • Conversions, spend and cost per conversion
  • Any range up to 92 days
  • A way to report it

What stays private

  • The publisher's name
  • Its apps and sites
  • Which other advertisers it sends traffic to

How the code works

  • Made from the source and your account together
  • The same over time, across your campaigns
  • Different for every advertiser account
  • Channels with few conversions that day share one row

One exception: a network that runs your offer directly, and connects your account with an invite link, is named on your My offers page.

02Report a channel

Report a channel and our team reviews it.

Pick one of these five reasons. A report never pauses traffic by itself; a person looks first.

  • Traffic quality
  • Chargebacks / reversals
  • Attribution discrepancy
  • Compliance concern
  • Something else
  1. 01

Pick the channel and a reason

Email the channel code, a reason and what you saw to hello@affiliateos.ai.

  2. 02

    Our team reviews it

We look at the source behind the code and reply by email. Traffic keeps running while we do.

  3. 03

If it holds up, it's switched off

We switch the channel off for your offers, for all of them or for one.

03Questions

About masked channels.

Can I ever see who a channel is?

No. Channel reports and the Reports page show only the code. If a channel worries you, report it and our team looks at the source behind it.

Can I switch a channel off?

Yes, after an AffiliateOS review. Report it, and if it holds up we switch it off for your offers, for all of them or for one. You can also pause any live campaign yourself from its campaign page.

Does a channel's code change?

It stays the same over time, so you can follow one channel across weeks and across your campaigns. It means nothing outside your account: another advertiser sees a different code for the same source.

Why is a channel missing from my report?

On any day, channels with only a few conversions are grouped into one row, so a small source can't be picked out. If the group itself is too small to stay anonymous, it's left out of that day.

What happens after I report a channel?

Our team looks at the source behind the code and replies by email. A report doesn't pause traffic by itself; if the channel is at fault, we switch it off for your offers.

Judge each channel by what it costs.

Start a campaign and verify it with free tests. Once it's live, a source gets its own row when it has enough conversions in a day to stay anonymous.
