Networks: set up your network and bring your publishers

Updated

View as Markdown

Once our team has set up your network, sign in, connect your server in Workspace settings, then create each publisher, choose the offers they can run and send them their invite link. Each publisher activates their own login and works in their own dashboard.

On this page

Before you start

  • A network account. Networks join after a short demo call: book a demo. Plans start at $500 a month; the pricing page has the details.
  • A public HTTPS URL on your server that can read query parameters, to receive postbacks.

Set up your network

  1. When your network is ready, our team sends you a private sign-in link. Sign in with your email and password, or with Google, and bookmark the link. Lost it? Ask us to send it again.

  2. Workspace settings, then Postback Configuration

Paste your URL into Postback URL and choose Save Changes. This is your global postback URL: conversions on marketplace offers and on your own offers post back to it.

Then choose Generate Webhook Secret and copy the secret. Every postback carries a signature made with it, so your server can check the request came from us. Test Postback sends a sample to your URL.

  3. Workspace settings, then API Keys

Choose Generate Key and copy the key. It starts with ak_ and is shown once. Your server sends it in the x-api-key header to the Network API, which returns every offer your network can run:

    Shell
    curl -G "https://affiliateos.xyz/network-api/offers" \
      -d country=US \
      -H "x-api-key: $NORTHFOLD_NETWORK_KEY"

Example for Northfold Media. The Expires column shows when each key stops working, 90 days after you generate it by default. Replace it before that date. The line above the list, such as “Used 1 / 1 keys”, shows how many keys you can hold: at your limit, choose Remove on the old key before Generate Key works, or ask us for room for a second key. The full reference is in the Network API docs.

Bring your publishers

  1. Publishers, then Create Publisher

    Four short steps, then Finish:

    StepWhat you set
PublisherTheir name, and the email they will sign in with
EconomicsWhat this publisher earns on your offers
RulesAdvertisers and categories to block, and the offer types they can run
OffersThe first set of offers they can run

Example: Northfold Media adds Pebble Rewards as a publisher, with Harbor Blocks in its first offer set.

  2. Send Invite, then Copy Invite

Send Invite creates the publisher’s invite link. Copy Invite shows a short message that carries it: choose Copy invite for the whole message or Copy link for the link alone. We don’t email the link for you: send it yourself.

The link works for 14 days. If it runs out before they use it, open the publisher and choose Resend Invite for a fresh one.

  3. The publisher sets a password

They open the link, choose a password of 8 characters or more and choose Activate Publisher Account. From then on they sign in at the publisher log in with their email and that password.

  4. Check it worked

Open the publisher under Publishers. Publisher Access shows when you sent the invite and when it was Accepted. Once they send traffic, Reporting, then Flight Recorder shows each conversion’s timeline, from the click to your postback delivery.
