Campaigns, then New campaign
Open Campaigns and choose New campaign. The form has two parts: Product, then Campaign.
Add your product
Choose Existing product to reuse one, or New product to add it:
- Product name: your app’s or site’s name.
- Product type: Mobile app sends users to the App Store or Google Play. Website sends them to your HTTPS landing page. A website can’t share a product with an app.
- For an app, pick iOS, Android or both, and paste the App Store URL and Google Play URL.
- For a site, paste the Website URL. It must be a public HTTPS address, and it becomes the default landing page for new campaigns.
Choose Continue.
Set up the campaign
- Campaign name (shown to users): the offer title people see in publishers’ apps. Use your public app name, not an internal label.
- Countries (comma-separated ISO): it starts as
US. List the countries you want, such asUS, CA, GB, or clear the field to run in every country. - Destination, for an app: Store listing sends people straight to your store page. App Store search (keyword) sends them to a store search for a Search term you choose, up to 80 characters, where they find your app themselves. Either way, installs are matched back to the campaign.
- Campaign landing URL, for a site: where people land after a tap. It must be a public HTTPS address.
- How will you report conversions to AffiliateOS?: Your server posts to AffiliateOS, or Your attribution tool posts to AffiliateOS if you already use AppsFlyer, Adjust or a similar tool. You can change this later.
Example for Tidewater Games: product Tidewater Putt, iOS and Android, campaign name Tidewater Putt, countries
US, CA, destination Store listing.Save & open setup
Choose Save & open setup. The campaign opens on its own page in Setting up: nobody can see it yet.
Check it worked
The campaign page shows a launch checklist: Add what you’ll pay for, Verify it works, Choose how you’ll send us data and Add funds. A website campaign adds Confirm the Website landing URL and Choose the primary result. Show developer setup, lower on the page, shows the
appIdandcampaignIdyour server will send with every event.
- Setting up, or sent back for changes: you can change the name, the destination, how you send us data and the events, and you can delete the campaign from Campaigns.
- In review: only the destination can change, plus a website’s primary result. Everything else waits for our decision.
- While it’s live, a new name or destination is saved as a pending change. Choose Submit changes for review: the campaign keeps running as it was until we approve the change.
- Paused, after approval: nothing can change. Resume it first.
