Submit for approval and go live
Choose Submit for approval once your campaign’s launch checklist is complete. Our team reviews it, and when we approve it the campaign goes Live: publishers can run it and live events start drawing on your balance.

On this page
Submit for approval stays greyed out, and reads Submit for approval (3 of 4 ready) or similar, until every item on the campaign’s checklist is done:
| Checklist item | Done when |
|---|---|
| Add what you’ll pay for | The campaign has at least one event |
| Verify it works | Every required event shows Verified |
| Choose how you’ll send us data | An option is picked under Connect your app |
| Add funds | Your balance is $50 or more |
Website campaigns add two items: Confirm the Website landing URL and Choose the primary result. Website campaigns covers both.
Finish the launch checklist
Open the campaign from Campaigns. The stepper at the top reads Setting up. Each open checklist item jumps to the part of the page that finishes it, and Add funds opens Billing.
Choose Submit for approval
The stepper moves to In review and the campaign shows Pending approval in your campaign list. Our team checks the product, the destination, the countries, how you send events and each event’s price.
If we ask for changes
The campaign comes back as Rejected, and the reason sits under Changes needed on the campaign page. Fix what it names, then choose Submit for approval again.
Check it worked
Once approved, the stepper reads Live and every event shows Live. Send one live event with a real
afos_click_idfrom a tap. In Event logs it readsapproved, and Balance left drops by that event’s price.
| What you change | What happens |
|---|---|
| An event’s price | Takes effect at once. The campaign stays live. |
| The campaign name, the destination, the primary result or other event details | Saved as pending. Choose Submit changes for review. The approved version keeps running until we approve the change. |
| New events, or how you send events | Not possible once a campaign is approved. |
The campaign name is the offer title people see in publishers’ apps, so rename it if it reads like an internal label.
- Pause stops a live campaign from spending. Publishers stop showing it, and live events come back as
campaign_paused. - Resume works when your balance covers the campaign’s cheapest paid event. If it doesn’t, add funds first.
- When your balance drops below a live campaign’s cheapest paid event, your live campaigns pause on their own. Add funds, then choose Resume on each one.
- Suspended by AffiliateOS means our team paused the campaign, with the reason shown under it. Resume stays off until we clear the suspension, so contact support about it.
Before you submit, run the go-live checklist, and send a test for each event if any still reads Awaiting test. The full event request and every response status are in the advertiser events reference.
