Set up your Hosted Offerwall

Updated

View as Markdown

Your account already has a wall. Copy its snippet from Docs, put your user’s ID and country into it, and the offerwall is ready to place. It serves real users once our team switches it on, the last step of setting up your account. Conversions arrive on the postback URL you already use, with your user’s ID in sub_id.

Before you start

  • A postback secret and a postback URL. We never send a postback without a secret, from the wall or anywhere else. Set them up first.
  • A stable ID for each of your users. It goes in the wall’s uid and comes back as sub_id on every postback, so it decides whose balance you credit.
  • An owner or admin seat. Teammates in other seats can’t see the wall’s snippet or change its settings.

Steps

  1. Docs, then Hosted Offerwall

    Open Docs in the sidebar and expand Hosted Offerwall. Under Your wall is an iframe snippet with your wall’s own ID (it starts with owapp_) already in it. Choose Copy snippet.

    The snippet shows when your account has one wall that opens with simple links. If the section says your wall requires server-signed launch URLs instead, read simple and signed links. If it says your wall is being set up, refresh the page in a moment.

    If your sidebar shows Properties & Apps, the snippet lives on the property: open the property, choose Integrations and copy the Hosted URL or the Iframe under Hosted Offerwall. Those carry a property_id, so clicks, conversions and reports keep the property they came from.

  2. Fill in your user’s ID and country

    Replace YOUR_USER_ID with the signed-in user’s ID and USER_COUNTRY with their two-letter country code, every time you show the wall. Example, for user u_48213 in the US:

    HTML
    <iframe
      src="https://offerwall.affiliateos.xyz/w/owapp_your_wall?uid=u_48213&source=iframe&country=US"
      style="width:100%;height:720px;border:0"
      allow="clipboard-write"
    ></iframe>
  3. My Profile, then Offerwall

    Set Your users’ share: the percent of your payout the wall shows your user, and the amount we send you to credit them. Under What your users are paid in, keep Dollars or pick My own currency. Choose Save. A new wall starts at 50%, in dollars.

    What your users are paid on the wall explains the share, and Name your currency and set its rate covers coins, points or gems.

  4. Put the wall where your users are

    WhereWhat to useGuide

    Your iOS, Android or React Native appThe same URL, in a browser tab or a WebViewAdd the wall to an app
    A button or linkThe URL alone, with source=hostedSimple and signed links
  5. Check it worked

    Open your wall’s URL in a browser with your own test user ID in uid. It’s a real launch, so you see what your users see: your rewards, in your currency, for the country you sent. Then work through Test your wall before launch before you send real users. If every launch shows “This offerwall link is invalid or expired”, your wall may not be switched on yet: email hello@affiliateos.ai with your wall ID (owapp_...).

What the wall handles for you

We host the wall and keep it current: which offers show for each user’s country and phone, their order, offer art, each offer’s steps and progress, and the user’s own My Offers list. You don’t build any of it. What you own is the user ID you send and the postback you credit from.
