Marketplace or direct: see where an offer came from
Your network dashboard splits Offers into Marketplace and Direct. Marketplace offers come to you from the AffiliateOS marketplace; direct offers are the ones your network added for advertisers you work with. On the Network API, placement=marketplace or placement=direct gives you the same split.

Each view lists Offer, Advertiser, Payout, Type, Platform and Status. Create Direct Offer is on All Offers and Direct.
Open an offer to check
An offer’s page tells you which kind it is:
- A direct offer has Edit offer details. If it belongs to a campaign, a Campaign box names it, with Go to Campaign View.
- A marketplace offer is read-only. Its page says “This imported network offer is read-only. Direct offers can be edited from this page.”

Your publishers see marketplace and direct offers in one list, each under its AffiliateOS offer ID. They never see the source behind a marketplace offer or its upstream offer ID: not on their screens, not in their offer lists and not in their postbacks.
A direct offer is never merged with a marketplace copy of the same app, so your own deal never disappears behind a marketplace listing. Marketplace copies of one app can merge with each other: see How we pick which copy of an offer you see.
