Group and break down charts

Updated

View as Markdown

On Dashboard, choose a date range and an interval, then choose Break down by to split the chart into one series per offer, platform or country. Add filter narrows everything on the page to one value. Advertisers’ Overview has a date range but no breakdowns.

Steps

  1. Open the date button, then Date Range

The date button sits at the top left of Dashboard. Under Date Range, pick Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 28 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month or Last 90 days. Networks also get All time. For any other span, click the first and last day on the calendar: the range reads Custom.

  2. Pick an interval

At the foot of the same panel, pick Year, Quarter, Month, Week or Day; the chart changes at once. Apply sets the dates and closes the panel. Every bucket is a UTC period: weeks start on Monday and read “Week of 2026-10-26”, quarters read “Q4 2026”.

  3. Break down by

Choose Break down by, then Offer, Platform or Country. Networks can also break down by Publisher and Advertiser. The chart turns into one colored series per group, with a list of groups beside it. Total turns the breakdown off.

  4. Pick the groups you want

In the list beside the chart, untick a group to hide it, or tick Select All to bring them all back. Search finds a group by name. Other can be unticked too. A hidden group leaves the chart, not the cards: the totals above stay the same.

  5. Choose a chart type

With a breakdown, the chart type menu offers Stacked column, Stacked area, Line, 100% stacked column, 100% stacked area and Pie chart. Use a 100% chart to compare each group’s share across days, and Line to compare the groups’ own trends. Without a breakdown, publishers switch between Column and Line, and networks get Area too.

  6. Add filter

Choose Add filter, then a dimension under Filter by: Offer, Platform or Country, plus Property / App if you send property IDs. Networks can also filter by Publisher and Advertiser. Each filter becomes a chip: click it to change the value, or the cross to remove it. Clear all removes every filter. Filters apply to the cards, the chart and the top offers at once.

  7. Check it worked

The chart’s subtitle names what you asked for, for example “By Country, per week, over the selected range.” Your choices stay while you move between screens and reset when you reload the page.

Things to know

  • Publishers’ Status switch changes what the conversion count means, not the money. Read your dashboard explains Completed (all) and Completed net of reversals.
  • A breakdown needs money visibility. A teammate without Earnings & billing visibility sees the cards but not the earnings chart.
  • Days are UTC days. A Texas evening lands partly on the next day. Time zones and when a day closes shows how.
  • Want the rows, not the picture? Reporting, then Offer Performance has Download CSV. Export data or use the Reporting API covers the rest.
