# Web, desktop and mobile offers

Offers and the feed · For publishers · Updated 30 October 2026
Web version: https://www.affiliateos.ai/help/offers/web-desktop-and-mobile

Each offer's `platforms` says where it runs: `ios`, `android`, `web`, and on some offers `desktop`. Show each user only offers for the device they're on. We check a tap against the offer's OS version range, not its platform, so a tap from the wrong kind of device still goes through to a page the user can't finish.

## What each platform means

| `platforms` value | Where the offer runs | Filter with |
|---|---|---|
| `ios` | An iPhone app from the App Store | `platform=iOS` |
| `android` | An Android app from Google Play | `platform=Android` |
| `web` | A site, sign-up or trial in a browser | `platform=web` |
| `desktop` | The same as web, as some offers label it | `platform=desktop` |
| `all`, or none listed | Every platform | Matches any `platform` value |

Filters match the words as listed, so to get every browser offer ask for both: `platform=web, desktop`. When we match copies of the same offer, `desktop` counts as web.

## Example

Pebble Rewards builds each player's list from their own device:

| Player | Device | Offer API call |
|---|---|---|
| `u_48213` | iPhone, iOS 17.4, Texas | `country=US&state=TX&platform=iOS&os_version=17.4` |
| A second player | Android phone, Ohio | `country=US&state=OH&platform=Android` |
| A third player | Laptop browser, Ontario | `country=CA&platform=web,desktop` |

Example. Players and devices are made up.

`u_48213` sees Harbor Blocks; the laptop player doesn't, because a laptop can't install an iPhone game. If an old card still showed it there, the tap would go through and lead nowhere.

## OS versions

Send `os_version` with exactly one `platform`, and the list leaves out offers the phone is too old or too new for. A tap from a phone outside an offer's OS range is stopped before the advertiser, and the user sees "This offer has ended".

## Browser offers on a phone

A web offer opens in any browser, so you can show some on phones too: `platform=iOS,web`. Read its description and requirements first; some ask for a computer.

## Apps found by searching the store

When `keywordCampaign` is `true`, the user has to find the app by searching the store for it, not by following a store link. Show the offer's description, which says what to search for, where the user will see it before they tap.

## Apps on both stores

Some app offers list both `ios` and `android` under one ID. App campaigns that advertisers set up on AffiliateOS with both store links send each phone to its own store from the same tracking link.

## On the Offers page

The **Platform** menu has **All platforms**, **iOS**, **Android** and **Web**. An offer's page shows where it runs under **Platforms**, as **iOS**, **Android**, **Web** or **Desktop**.

## On the Hosted Offerwall

The wall picks offers for the player itself. Pass the player's `platform` (`ios`, `android` or `web`) and `country` in the launch link, and the wall shows each game once for that platform and country.
