# Get an email when an offer changes

Open **Email alerts** in your portal and turn on what you want to hear about. We email you when an offer you run changes its payout or stops running. Each teammate sets up their own, so your settings never change anyone else's.

## What you can turn on

| Alert | What it emails you | What you choose |
|---|---|---|
| **Offer stopped** | An offer you earn on stops being available | **Only email if it's still gone after** 15 minutes, 1 hour or 4 hours. **Send it** right away or in the daily summary. **Also tell me when it comes back**. |
| **Payout or cap changes** | The payout on an offer you earn on changes | **Payout moves** up or down, or down only, by any size, 5%, 10% or 25% or more. **Include daily cap changes**. **Send them** within the hour or in the daily summary. |
| **New top offers** | Every Monday, offers in the top 10, 20 or 50 that you aren't running yet | How many, and iOS, Android or Web only |

On a network account, the same alerts cover the offers your publishers earn on.

## Steps

### Email alerts, in the sidebar

**Emails go to** shows the address we use. All three alerts start switched off.

### Turn on an alert and set its options

Each alert has its own switch and options. Choose which offers count, by what they earned you lately or by your top offers. A line under each alert shows how many emails it would have sent you recently, so you can tune it before anything arrives.

### Check it worked

The heading **What to email me about** shows how many alerts are on. **Preview emails** shows what each one looks like.

> **Alerts need earnings visibility.** They include what each offer earns, so a teammate without earnings access sees a note instead of the settings. An Owner or Admin can turn it on for them under **Team**.

## Good to know

- **Every email has an unsubscribe link.** It turns your alerts off, and only yours.
- **New offers on Offer Links.** Our team tells you in your Slack channel when new offers go live, so you don't need an alert for those.
- **An alert doesn't change anything.** A stopped offer still needs swapping on your side: [When an offer ends or disappears](https://www.affiliateos.ai/help/offers/offer-ended-or-disappeared).
